I'm currently running windows XP Home on my computer and i was wondering if i should upgrade to windows XP professional because i heard it was a lot better... what are the benefits of XP professional and is it worth all that money for home use? thanks

there isnt much difference, but i guess its a bit more stable OS.. but if its just for home use, i wouldn't shell out the money just to upgrade to professional.... if u can get it for free, on the other hand.........

xp professional really isn't that big of a difference unless you are a true computer guru. i would stick to the standard edition. the professional version is simply not worth the money. sort of like all the products offered at microsoft.
