| RESPONSIBILITIES
This position works under the direction of the Product Development team and spends a majority of their time collecting and correlating statistical data and competitive intelligence from a variety of sources.
•Essential Duties Include: Develops and improves existing models/analysis templates to establish and monitor rate levels at the state and product level.
•Participate in ad-hoc requests around state specific analysis and reporting. Identifies sources of gain/loss by product and business process.
•Prepares and presents summary of pricing proposals and recommended actions with supporting exhibits that are consistent with the company's business strategy.
•Knowledge and Skills
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in mathematics, actuarial science, statistics, economics, or related discipline.
•Demonstrated ability to organize and summarize analytical data.
•Has a solid foundation in Excel, Access.
•Qualifications Desired: Experience in Actuarial Science and/or the passage of one or more actuarial exams.
•SAS experience preferred. Experience with Emblem a plus.
•Experience with mainframe functions and reporting processes.
