Major Responsibilities:

The position is primarily responsible for managing key clients and projects in projects associated with Retirement and other Employee Benefit programs, as well as marketing and business development this content area. This position provides you with an opportunity to work with a team of international professionals in benefits and rewards consulting.

•To lead projects medium to large-sized projects in the area of Retirement and Benefits consulting, including retirement benefits, severance practices and medical & insurance benefits, flexible benefits policies,
•To lead and support projects associated with the investment strategy of pension and assets and other institutional funds
•To lead projects associated with the due diligence and/or integration of employee benefit programs in the event of a corporate merger, acquisition or divestiture
•To lead projects associated with the actuarial valuations (local accounting, international accounting and funding) of pension funds in Hong Kong and around Asia
•To support the firm’s business development activities through marketing events, lead generation, and structuring and delivery of proposals.
•To lead and execute internal projects around content development and market assessment.
•To mentor junior associates in the Consulting team, and provide support on content and project management.

Requirements:

•10+ years of work experience, with at least 3-4 years in the area of Retirement plan and other Benefits Consulting
•Internationally recognized actuarial qualification
•Ability to manage internal and external clients, build rapport and credibility and present to current and potential clients.
•Familiarity with the basics of statutory considerations (including taxation) and market practices in Benefits in HK, including retirement benefits, severance practices and medical & insurance benefits, flexible benefits policies, etc.
•Solid computer skills, including working knowledge of Excel, Actuarial applications and other Microsoft Office applications
•Proven ability in coordinating and liaising with multiple parties within and across geographies
•Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
•Willingness to learn
•Fluency in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
