RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Actuarial Division is recruiting for a SSV-P/C Actuarial (Commercial Modeling) to supervise actuarial staff and the actuarial study of pricing, modeling, reserving or dynamic financial analysis for the company's P/C lines of business.

- Excellent finance, statistical and mathematical skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to make effective presentations to a variety of audiences.

- Ability to operate a computer and related software.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, actuarial science, statistics or a related field required.
- In lieu of a mathematics-related degree, a bachelor’s degree in any field and proficiency in statistics and/or related subjects required.
- Attainment of Associateship (ACAS) or Fellowship in the Casualty Actuarial Society (FCAS) preferred.
- Five years of experience in actuarial or a related field and demonstrated knowledge and ability in statistical techniques required.
- Basic knowledge of computers and computer programming required.
- Demonstrated success in mentoring others and/or leading projects required.
- Successful completion of insurance courses preferred.
