| Position: Actuarial Manager/Senior Actuarial Manager – Regional Actuarial Services, Asia

RESPONSIBILITIES:
?Conduct/review Canadian GAAP and USGAAP financial reporting throughout the region, establish/review the reserving basis for actuarial valuation
?Perform and provide thorough analysis on asset liability modeling
?Work with local business units to help with actuarial training and reporting needs, provide guidance and advice to local actuarial staff on financial reporting
?Be familiar with local business units' products and financial results as well as legislative, economic and political circumstances affecting the business
?Participate in various actuarial projects including embedded value calculation, valuation basis change and other ad hoc projects
?Enhance and improve reporting/modeling methods, processes and control, keep procedural documentation in good order
?Lead and develop junior staff
?Some travel around the region may be required
QUALIFICATIONS:
?Degree holder with professional qualifications such as fellowship of an actuarial body
?Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience in the insurance industry with at least 1 year supervisory experience
?Candidate with less experience may be considered for the position of Assistant Actuarial Manager
?Solid actuarial knowledge, knowledge of Canadian GAAP and/or USGAAP is an advantage
?Experience in AXIS or other actuarial software is an added advantage
