RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Play a lead role in IPO Readiness-related projects and other special Legacy Annuity Valuation projects.
- Partner with Financial Management, Corporate Finance and other departments in reviewing and managing IPO related data requests.
- Support the preparation of historical financials and other materials related to the IPO.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- A near FSA to an FSA strongly preferred with at least 5 – 7 years of life insurance / annuity industry experience with a good breadth of functional experience, with broad exposure to valuation and financial reporting.
- Demonstrable expertise in financial reporting and solvency assessment on a market value basis IFRS/GAAP and DAC, and Statutory basis knowledge a big plus.
- Ability to handle shifting priorities; flexible.
- Candidate should be very well organized and professional, committed to a service orientation.
- Along with strong ability to be technical and detail oriented, must have excellent interpersonal skills and strong oral and written communication abilities to clearly articulate results to management.
- Candidate must have strong computer skills, with a working knowledge of MS PowerPoint and MS Excel.
- A team player that is able to function as a key member of the Annuity Financial Actuarial team, and demonstrate a high degree of ownership.
