RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in A&H valuation and financial reporting.
- Provide support for filing rate certifications and increases in individual states.
- Implement approved rate increases.
- Design queries to gather data for use in rate filings, financial reporting and projections.
- Assist in modeling and projecting A&H business using Prophet.
- Respond to requests from states for company data.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Math, Actuarial Science, Finance or related field.
- Passed a minimum of 2 actuarial exams.
- Knowledge of MS Office, Database applications and SQL.
- Strong computer and technical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time.
- Ability to think independently and apply judgment.
- Resourceful in solving emerging problems.
- Ability to work as a team within and outside of the department.
