OBJECTIVES:
?Assist the Department Head in verifying the negotiated reinsurance terms and conditions prior to the signing of agreement, and all relevant reinsurance statements/ reports prepared by the Reinsurance Specialist.
?Assist the Department Head in the implementation of relevant risk management policies as required by Regional Office and regulator, and to coordinate in the compilation of Department Risk Registers.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
?Assist in verifying the reinsurance terms and conditions quoted by the reinsurers and to ensure reasonableness of reinsurance rates quoted and the appropriateness and completeness of the reinsurance agreement.
?Verify the reinsurance rate entered into the Reinsurance System and ensure accuracy of reinsurance premium calculation.
?Coordinate with Risk Coordinator for the compilation of Department Risk Registers and to ensure timeliness of submission of the risk registers.
?Conduct review on derivatives transactions to ensure compliance with regulations.
?Communicate with Risk Coordinators to understand the risk profile of the departments
?Assist in reviewing and enhance the risk management and reinsurance processes in order to achieve operation effectiveness and efficiency.
QUALIFICATIONS:
•University graduate with knowledge in insurance, business administration and statistics an added advantage
•Familiar with Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc, and proficient in English (written and conversation)
•Sense of responsibility, good communication and problem solving skill.
•3 years and above insurance related experience
