RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepares annual actuarial valuations, government filings, and FAS 158 disclosures for Defined Benefit clients' plans for both outsourced and non outsourced plans.
- Provides information requested by accountants in connection with pension plan audits.
- Prepares any necessary information required by the IRS such as cost limitations under various sections of the Internal Revenue Code.
- May be dedicated to a particular jumbo client.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- College graduate with evidence of strong analytical skills.
- Math or Actuarial Science Majors.
- Preferred candidates will have passed one or more Society of Actuaries exams.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, and strong PC skills.
- Ability to apply basic actuarial principles to resolve DB plan issues.
