RESPONSIBILITIES:
- The Actuarial Intern within the Experience Data Unit is expected to perform the following but not limited to these functions:
- Perform actuarial tasks which are of a mathematical and/or systems related or programming nature.
- Compile and categorize data, documenting and verifying factors used in computations, such as those used in lapse and mortality assumptions.
- Coordinate efforts with more senior actuarial staff members.
- Gain knowledge of company operations, systems and actuarial methodologies.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Undergraduate degree in Mathematics, Actuarial Science or related business discipline
- Completion of 0-2 exams
- Knowledge of finance, insurance industry, or actuarial fields
- Understanding of insurance products and operations
- Detail oriented with strong analytical problem-solving skills.
