RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Works on a variety of client service projects under the supervision of more experienced consultants and with appropriate client contact.
- These services include database development and maintenance; plan administration and special projects, all at the level appropriate to the individual’s knowledge and experience.
- Handles the preparation of valuation data, asset reconciliation and programming of valuation system.
- Programs actuarial valuation system for calculation of value of plan benefits and liabilities.
- Completes actuarial valuation reports for pension and post-retirement medical plans.
- Completes Forms 5500 (with attachments), 5558, PBGC and other forms required for client.
- Maintains telephone contact with clients (including associates in other offices) on data and administrative matters.
- Handles special projects as instructed by his/her supervisor.
- Calculates benefit amounts for terminated or retiring participants.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s in mathematics or business related field with 0 to 1 years of total related experience.
- Have a proven track record academically.
- Should have successfully completed 1 SOA exam. Good verbal/written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills required.
