Web-based Actuarial Mock Exam System (Wames) is aimed to help students to pass actuarial CBT exams by offering free practice tests.

Even though this website does not provide 100% real exam simulation, but it is a totally free service! Inspired by Prof. Elias Saab from University of Missouri-Columbia and Prof. Guo Yufeng, author of Deeper Understanding, Faster Calculation – Exam Insights & Shortcuts Study Manual. This system was created based on the below idea:

Most problems on actuarial exams are repeatable problems. If you can solve these routine problems 100% correct, you have a solid foundation for a passing score. Besides that, we must know how to allocate time to finish the 30 questions within 3 hours.

Prof. Elias had created “The Saab Actuarial Online Test Page”, but it just aimed for practice, maximum 20 questions per set without time restriction, not in exam mode. By using moodle platform, we had made an updated version of this Actuarial Online Test Page, which is WAMES.

There is no any fee to use this service, but you can help us by giving us comments and donating us. Sharing is Caring. Thanks a lot.
