| This international consulting company is seeking a technically robust and ambitious actuarial candidate who can share the (front line) marketing work. This position will involve a wide variety of consulting work in different actuarial functions (from auditing, valuation to merges, acquisition and more). This position will require an individual who could work independently, deal with changing deadlines, consult and deal with clients, manage his/her time, other people’s time, and project deliverable and want to learn new things.
Qualifications:
- More than 10 years experience in life insurance / consulting firm
- Fellow of a recognized professional body in actuarial such as Society of Actuaries, Institute of Actuaries or Institute of Australian Actuaries
- Confident and able to work independently and lead a team
- Language Skills: Mandarin & English
- Skillful in Prophet / Moses modelling (or other actuarial system financial modelling)
- Experienced in ALM, M&A related work and US GAAP (Preferable)
- Affluent experience in all the traditional things (product development / pricing / biz planning / experience study etc) as an actuary.
- Affluent experience in economic valuations (preferable but not necessary).
- Strong interpersonal skills, hands on and project management skills
- Strong drive and marketing skills
- Excellent interpersonal/communication skills
