RESPONSIBITIES:
-Financial management of client relationships
-Consulting services to a select group of clients
-Leading benefit strategy and plan design consulting projects
-Managing large client projects while working with other experienced consultants
-Interacting with clients on a daily basis and making in-person presentations
-Assisting in training and development of staff
-The successful candidate will have ten years or more of Group Benefits consulting experience with particular emphasis on health care
QUALIFICATIONS:
-ASA or FSA designation required.
-Knowledge of and experience with all aspects of the health care marketplace including plan -design, pricing, benchmarking, financial management/analysis including experience projections and administration
-General knowledge of life and disability plans
-Knowledge of post-retirement medical benefits valuations (FAS 106) including both projection and underwriting aspects
-Excellent quantitative, analytical and problem solving skills
-Demonstrated ability to work in and lead project teams
-Experience leading client relationships
-Good communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
-High degree of self-motivation
