RESPONSIBILITIES

- Work as an integral member of the asset modeling group in its asset modeling efforts for Embedded Value, Cash Flow Testing, Budget, Value of New Business, Unlocking, and Economic Capital and other analyses as needed.
- Provide expertise on all aspects of asset modeling.
- Understand and work with all functions within the Investment division including Investment Risk, Portfolio Management and Asset Specialists Groups.
- Work with USA operating divisions to ensure consistency between asset and liability modeling platforms and approaches.
- Participate in creating efficient processes with a vision for future production needs.






QUALIFICATIONS:

- Asset modeling and/or liability modeling experience desired.
- Strong quantitative skills. Demonstrated ability to use different mathematical modeling techniques, for consistent results. Experience with actuarial modeling platforms such as TAS/MoSes, Alfa, and/or Prophet preferred.
- Excellent statistical and mathematical skills.
- Demonstrated ability to develop creative solutions to analytical problems, making use of spreadsheets, databases, statistical packages, and graphics.
- Ability to utilize conceptual and analytical skills to develop solutions to complex problems.
- Willingness to assume a progressively increasing role as a leader and project manager within the Asset Modeling Group.
