Responsibilities: ·client experience and mortality assessment ·pricing assumption setting ·optimal product and deal structure ·model projections ·strong partnership with deal team, marketing actuary, account execute, and client ·Own at least one area of retail product pricing expertise to assist with knowledge management and client support ·Provide technical input to meet pricing improvement goals ·Provide coaching and mentoring of pricing staff through interaction on transactions and project assignments ·Identify and quantify risks in the proposed transaction and propose mitigating structures or strategies ·Work with Pricing Leader to apply TARe pricing philosophy to new products and opportunities ·Maintain documentation to satisfy all customers of the pricing process (New Business, Actuarial, Financial, BDS) ·Work with Pricing Leader to continually improve risk assessment / pricing / processes with respect to both quality and efficiency ·Work with Risk Management to ensure that pricing assumption derivation is consistent with emerging experience ·Participate on project assignments to support assumption revisions (ex: mortality and lapse standards), new legal entity and deal structures, and product development. ·Participate in creating strong diversified team by cross training, open communication, and peer to peer coaching. ·Responsibilities include providing analytical and project management expertise to Life Pricing projects supporting the pricing process, tools, or approaches. ·model and assumptions used for new business quotes. ·all supporting materials and studies used in Pricing Committee review packages ·project and analytical studies to support pricing assumptions ·Assist Actuarial and CFO departments on various corporate projection work (ex: new business runs needed for budgets, embedded value, etc.) ·Work with Pricing and New Business Teams to conduct periodic assumption review and refinements. This would include project management and individual contributions related to performing periodic mortality, lapse, and expense assumptions needed to support Life Solutions and PC&D pricing assumptions. This position will be required to demonstrate strong project management skills to ensure timely delivery of business requirements. ·Complete studies, parallel testing, and system modifications to support transactional processing ·Communicate effectively with pricing, marketing, product and senior management staff on deal status, expectations, strategy, and pricing assumptions. ·Create a process platform that optimizes the use of technology and workflow controls ·Work with Deal Team to deliver a quality and timely product to meet TARe and customers needs ·Have working knowledge of how to create and populate pricing model, including pricing cells / tables / sub-funds / other structures needed to properly evaluate the potential transaction. Cell set-up may be required in unusual situations. ·Prepare and maintain workflow and pricing assumption documentation to satisfy all customers of the pricing process (New Business Acquisition, Actuarial, Financial, BDS, Risk Management) ·Work with Life Pricing Team, Product Area and Sales Team to continually improve pricing processes with respect to both quality and efficiency ·Contribute to Life Solutions and PC&D strategic direction ·Other duties as required for the position.
Qualifications
·FSA Minimum ·7+ years of industry or related experience. Extensive reinsurance experience required ·Experience with Term
