Responsibilities:

·The Senior Pricing Analyst supports the Actuarial discipline by assembling standard experience exhibits, performing required filings, preparing system specifications and maintaining manual pages.
·Complete standard filings for various lines of business.
·Obtain necessary data and complete standardized filing exhibits.
·Prepare filing letter and respond to routine insurance department inquiries.
·Assist actuary in preparing filing/filing response when required.
·Follows up on filing correspondence regularly and communicates filing status to affected business areas.
·Monitor compliance with ISO, NCCI or State Rating Bureau filings and recommend actions.
·Perform liaison function between systems and actuarial department.
·Stays current with rate review or project schedule.
·Compiles data as directed for analysis from standard sources
·Develops and maintains competitive data and competitors pricing models.


Qualifications

·Associate Degree or higher in a relevant technical field, three or more years of insurance experience with detailed filing background.
·Capable of independently handling all aspects of routine filings where detailed actuarial support is not required.
·Possesses detailed understanding of basic filing requirements.
·Experienced in one or more word processing software applications.
·Competent in use of standard spreadsheet templates and programmed macros.
·Possess good written and oral communication skills.
·Ability to multitask and meet all deadlines with quality product.
·Excellent attention to detail.
·Strong organizational and time management ability.
