Responsibilities:
· Reports to Country Performance Management Manager/Supervisor · To perform actuarial investigations and provide support to the local business unit; to support the launch of products and to support local compliance. · Performs experience studies and prepares best estimate assumptions for actuarial investigations. · Performs tactical pricing or financial analyses to support the business unit in making business decisions (e.g. campaigns). · Prepares filing and answers queries to comply with local requirements. · Implements and supports product launches (including reinsurance arrangements, table set-up and systems user acceptance testing). · Reviews reports provided by the Performance Management Shared Service team and ensures the production of appropriate reports for analysis. · Analyses data and provides meaningful conclusions.
Qualifications
· University graduate - major in Actuarial Science / Mathematics / Statistics · Preferably passed at least 2 actuarial exam papers · Good command of both written and spoken English · Good problem solving and analytical skills · Excellent knowledge of spreadsheets, database, other PC languages and modelling skills · Is able to perform a variety of tasks · Delivers to schedule · Checks to ensure accuracy and consistency of work · Attends to details · Shares experience and information with colleagues · Shares views / suggestions openly and confidently with colleagues, customers and management · Bases analyses and conclusions on objective data and logical thinking · Offers ideas and takes steps to improve workflow, productivity or service
