Responsibilities:
·The Corporate Actuarial Commercial Automobile pricing Manager position primarily supports corporate pricing for the commercial automobile line.
·The ideal candidate will be responsible for development, testing and implementation of pricing plans and models, analysis of potential rating variables, and analysis of model performance for pricing and risk selection plans.
·This person will also conduct analyses of rate adequacy, trend and profitability at the enterprise line of business and segment level.
·The candidate will also be responsible for supporting rate recommendations and actuarial filing support for the automobile line of business.
·Additional areas of involvement include: participate on enterprise automobile line of business network; lead actuarial projects for network; coordinate enterprise price monitoring and assist in other lines of business and reinsurance as needed. Management responsibility includes two actuarial positions.
Requirements:
·Bachelors Degree
·8 or more years of related experience
·FCAS is preferred but we may consider an ACAS
·While an FCAS is preferred, an ACAS with significant commercial automobile experience would also be considered
·Experience in pricing and commercial automobile is desired.
·Opportunity to work with non-actuarial professionals requires good communication skills.
·Overtime and limited travel may be required.
