Responsibilities:
·Preparing cost estimates and actuarial valuations.
·Participating in special projects such as: mergers & acquisitions, benefit strategy and plan design, executive benefits, regulatory compliance and nondiscrimination testing.
·Participating in client meetings and advising them on benefit questions.
·Supervising and reviewing the work completed by entry level actuarial associates.
Qualifications
·Two or more years of experience with Defined Benefit plans.
·2+ Courses towards A.S.A. desired.
·ERISA and FAS 87 experience.
·Knowledge of FAS 88 and FAS 106 is desired but not required.
·High motivation, initiative and demonstrated leadership skills.
·Ability to work well in teams.
