Responsibilities:
·The company is creating a talent pool of 3 actuarial students.
·Each student would report to one FSA, and he/she would primarily assist that FSA.
·However, with the seasonality of business needs, the talent pool would support other FSA's in the area.
·Geographically, the positions will cover Brazil, Japan, and Europe.
·Maintenance of DAC schedules & true up process
·Economic Value
·Stochastic DAC Analysis
·Development of Strategic Plans
·Statutory and GAAP Pricing expertise
·Risk analysis knowledge
·Actuarial modeling capability (i.e. Moses) for new products/benefits and for risk management inquiries
Qualifications
·We are looking for an individual with a “take charge” attitude and self-motivated to learn and ask questions.
·We are also looking for an individual who has excellent communication skills and exhibits a patient attitude when explaining difficult concepts to individuals whose primary language is not English.
·Most importantly, we are looking for team players who likes to work hard and have fun.
·Prior annuity and/or modeling experience are preferable; however it is not required and the individual can be trained to accomplish the above responsibilities.
·Willingness to travel for a two-week period once or twice a year is desired.
