Responsibilities:
·Performs actuarial tasks of a mathematical nature.
·Compiles and categorizes data.
·Documents and verifies the factors used in computations.
·Depending on area, may prepare rate filings, schedules of statistics, and financial statements.
·Depending on area, may assist in the determination of premiums, benefits, and pricing levels.
·Gaining knowledge about company operations, systems, and actuarial methodologies.
·Performs actuarial tasks of a mathematical nature.
·Compiles and categorizes data.
·Documents and verifies the factors used in computations.
Qualifications
·Bachelor’s or higher degree in mathematics, actuarial science, business or science.
·Some prior business experience preferred (i.e., internship).
·1 to 3 SOA exams.
