| Position: Entry Level Actuarial Analyst

Responsibilities:
·Analyzes financial, statistical and mathematical data and performs actuarial calculations.
·May assist in the determination of pricing, reserves and/or cash flow projections.
·Assists in performing rate studies used in determining rate adequacy, and may prepare rate
filings.
·Assists in preparing the actuarial portions of financial statements and tax returns, which
may include assisting in the financial close process.
·Prepares a variety of standard reports, as well as, special reports for management, as
needed.
·May assist in the performance of special projects.
·Performs other essential duties as assigned.
Qualifications
·Bachelor's Degree in a relevant discipline, or equivalent.
·Entry level, which may include progress toward actuarial accreditation of one to three successfully completed exams.
·Knowledge of corporate, departmental and actuarial practices, procedures and principles.
·Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
·Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
·Detail oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and complete projects effectively.
·Solid interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with staff and other departments at all levels.
·Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and other business-related software systems, including processing systems and applications.
