·Data analysis using Excel, Access and SAS
·Benefit Plan Relativities
·Basic Pricing and Reserving tasks
Qualifications
·A four-year bachelor’s degree majoring in actuarial science, mathematics, or another major with quantitative course work and an outstanding academic record
·Strong analytical, communication (written and oral), and organizational skills
·Excellent people skills with the career goal to be an actuarial consultant
·Desire to develop a successful client base through networking, writing articles, speaking engagements and other marketing methods
·Proficiency in Excel, Access or SAS
·A desire to expand their actuarial skills and progress toward FSA designation
·Previous actuarial or related internship experience. A healthcare background is a plus.
·Successfully passed two Society of Actuaries exams
