RESPONSIBITIES
-Prepare, analyze, research, and communicate actuarial services for defined benefit pension plans of moderate size and greater difficulty.
-Use technical skills to do research and calculations.
QUALIFICATIONS:
-Bachelor's degree in mathematics or related field, or equivalent,
-Minimum of 2-4 years of work related experience in pension actuarial field required. -Knowledge of business unit operations is required.
-Knowledge of actuarial mathematics, which could include probability and statistics, numerical analysis, and compound interest, is required.
-Strong analytical, communication, organizational and prioritization, and decision-making skills.
-Ability to complete detailed work accurately.
-Knowledge of spreadsheet and database or similar PC software packages, or the ability to learn, is preferred.
-Aptitude in programming languages is preferred.
