RESPONSIBITIES:
-Completes advanced rate indications.
-Analyzes competitive intelligence; performs advanced research including multivariate analysis.
-Participates in interdepartmental projects.
-Performs other related duties as assigned or required.
-May assume some supervisory responsibilities.
-Bachelor's degree in mathematics or related discipline along with 5-7 yrs.
-Insurance industry experience is preferred.
-The responsibility level of this position will depend on the candidate’s qualifications.
-The candidate will work closely with other pricing actuaries, underwriting, product management, and state management partners in the field.
QUALIFICATIONS:
-Bachelor's degree in mathematics, actuarial science or related discipline preferred.
-3+ years pricing experience with a property & casualty insurer.
-3+CAS exams (or jointly sponsored SOA exams).
-Excellent problem solving skills.
-Strong knowledge of P&C insurance products.
-Strong math and analytical skills.
-Good organizational skills.
-Strong ability to multi-task and use sound business judgment.
-Leads by example.
-Proficiency in MS Office.
