RESPONSIBILITIES
- Development and implementation of pricing and investment strategies to support the current product mix as well as new product development
- Maintenance of AXIS datasets and other pricing and risk management models
- Development of the New Business Plan pricing assumptions and metrics
- Evaluate the use of reinsurance to optimize new business financial results
- Quantify and report on New Business pricing metrics
QUALIFICATIONS:
- At least 2 years experience in the insurance industry
- Strong actuarial, technical, and communication skills
- Knowledgeable of Canadian GAAP, US GAAP and US Statutory valuation standards
Familiarity with investment markets and instruments, CFA designation (or similar) a plus
Ability to work effectively across various disciplines (Pricing, Valuation, Distribution, and Operations)
