RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Applying accomplished management, analytical and organizational skills, participate in strategy development as lead actuary, help drive implementation of emerged strategies, and coordinate detailed profitability analyses by national/local area and line.
- Work with underwriters to develop and enhance pricing models and increase risk insight.
- Manage, competitor benchmarking and rate filings for new territories and products.
- Teach, motivate and develop teams of actuarial professionals.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- A BA degree in Mathematics or a related discipline
- FCAS/MAAA or FCIA designation with pricing expertise.
- 10 – 15 years’ related experience in a commercial insurance environment
- Computer literate
