| a friend of mine was telling me that the market in china and hong kong for actuaries is rapidly growing. is this true? i would like to get some advice from someone who has experience with the asian actuarial market. thanks.

| | from what i hear, the job prospects in china are only getting hotter. china is really catching onto the insurance market. i'm nto sure about hong kong though. there has been a major slowdown in their economy since the takeover. many businesses have gone bankrupt and thus has caused insurance companies to lose a lot of money. |
