Responsibilities:
·Pricing of Life & Health reinsurance deals across all product lines, in particular Disability and Mortality.
·Development of Pricing Basis and Guidelines.
·Monitoring of Claims Experience.
·Calculation of Statutory and US GAAP Reserves.
·Co-operation with Finance and Accounting in the reserving process.
·Development of new insurance products as service for customers.
·Active Participation & Presentations in Workshops with clients.
·Initiate, organize, direct, design and perform actuarial analyses which integrate investment, product and/or corporate strategies.
·Develop and communicate actuarial assumptions.
·Perform advanced statistical analysis in support of management decision-making.
·Perform audits and provide peer reviews and referral support on large accounts.
·Develop processes to continuously improve efficiency of the actuarial process and the quality of the actuarial product.
·Work independently and make decisions within his/her authority.
Qualifications
·College/university degree or equivalent (actuarial degree may be required in some countries).
·Minimum 3-5 years actuarial experience.
·Demonstrated leader of actuarial core competencies.
·Demonstrated mastery of advanced pricing and/or reserving techniques.
·Good communication, judgment and decision-making skills.
·Demonstrated creativity and innovation.
·Firm understanding of industry trends and regulations.
·Ability to negotiate and foster a team environment.
·Strong customer focus, broad business and product and process knowledge.
·Ability to interface effectively with management of insurer clients.
·You must be eligible to work in the European Union to apply for this position.
