Responsibilities:

·Price current or new property/casualty insurance coverages and products.
·Executes quarterly rate level reviews to ensure that rates are adequate, externally competitive and internally consistent with experience under the direction of an Assistant or Associate ·Actuary.
·Analyze and prepare competitive product and rate comparison reports.
·Formulates and interprets mathematical ratemaking models using statistical programming languages as appropriate.
·Analyze data, develop material and prepare rate filings for submission.
·Studies for and successfully completes Casualty Actuarial Society examinations.

Requirements:

Actuarial Analyst
·Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Computer Science or a related field is required
·Ability to develop and interpret mathematical models and analyze technical studies, data and draw sound conclusions
·Willingness to undertake a study program to successfully complete Actuarial Society examinations required
·Knowledge of insurance industry, terminology and concepts
·Ability to use a statistical program

Senior Actuarial Analyst
·Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Computer Science or a related field.
·Successful completion of 2 or 3 Actuarial Society examinations and previous pricing experience is required.
·Professional level job experience as an Actuarial Analyst to include: Preparing quarterly rate reviews and property and casualty rate filings; Formulating and interpreting mathematical rate making; Preparing competitive product and rate comparison analysis reports; and Calculating reserves for filing purposes and pricing property and casualty insurance products.
