Responsibilities:
·Experience analysis including utilization and average charge
·Capitation development and contract analysis
·Benefit plan development and pricing
Qualifications
·A desire to expand actuarial skills and progress toward FSA designation
·Leadership traits with the desire to manage client projects, coordinate deadlines and ensure compliance with quality procedures and client satisfaction
·Excellent people skills with the career goal to be an actuarial consultant and develop a successful client base through networking, writing articles, speaking engagements and other marketing methods
·Successfully passed at least four Society of Actuaries exams
·Proficiency in Excel, Access or SAS/SQL
·Strong analytical, communication (written and oral), and project management skills
·A four-year bachelor’s degree majoring in actuarial science, mathematics, or another major with quantitative course work and an outstanding academic record
·3 – 5 years actuarial experience related to healthcare preferred
·ASA designation preferred
