Responsibilities:
·Conducting reviews of personal and commercial auto and property insurance rates. This includes analyzing trends, projecting, underwriting results, and reviewing competitiveness of company rates.
·Coordinating and providing general direction for implementing rate changes for personal and commercial auto and property insurance.
·Preparing written and verbal rate proposals, statistical analysis, and letters to insurance regulatory authorities to describe and support rate and rule changes.
·Pursuing a fellowship in the Casualty Actuarial Society with the assistance of a competitive exam support program.
Requirements:
·Successful completion of at least 1 actuarial exam.
·Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, or Statistics is strongly desired.
·Overall GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher.
·Strong logical analysis and problem solving skills.
·Strong oral and written communication skills.
·Strong desire and commitment to pursue the actuarial exams towards the attainment of the FCAS designation.
